RRG Plan B this weekend
The area we usually use at Red River Gorge is under fire ban and may have some fire damage.
Plan B is to stay somewhat local (Gas prices are thru the roof) so we have reserved the group camp area at Lake Hope State park for Saturday. We will be departing the church early 0700 am, so arrive 0630 ~0645 ready to go. Eat breakfast prior or bring it with you. We will return Sunday 10-11 o'clock.
Looks like weather will be good, but cold at night and possibly a drizzle on Sunday. Make sure you dress in layers, have warm sleeping gear and rain jacket/ poncho. Also bring your water bottle and maybe an extra, we will have water, but there is not a spigot at the site.
This is a beautiful primitive area, we will be exploring and hiking, wear you boots, should be a great time.
